Something in Cardi’s new album cover pulled me in, and I was transfixed. I wanted to be that beautiful, that posed, and that confident.  And it occurred to me that the enchantment from this rapping vixen is nothing but…pure unadulterated confidence exuding through the pages and pulling you in.

I immediately had to channel her, and I can feel her energy whenever I sit for this pose.

Vixen? mayybeeeee

A vamp?  Only when I dress like it. *winks*

Serving Blue

Photo and blogger challenges are so rare!  Tink Hax proposed a photo challenge in February for anyone willing to try to recreate a photo of their choosing from their Pinterest board.  With the participants on the list, I was nervous, to say the least.  But I went ahead and pushed through the nervousness, meticulously searching for items that were identical or pretty darn close to my inspo photo. I think that I did a pretty good job, even after taking minor liberties like not using eyeshadow!

Storytime Snackage!

Today Maddie and I went to Storytime at Nuggets!

But instead of going empty-handed, we swung by our favorite eatery and picked up some primo snackage to share with everyone.

Usually, I wouldn’t encourage the kiddos to eat the sweets before the food, but…I misbehaved and ate my dessert before I ate my meal (eep!).

I regretted it later *holds tummy and frowns*.

Now, Maddie and Britney played it smart!  Britney(…or was it Whitney…oh man I can never tell those two apart!) had a Ham & Cheese Slider and my Maddie girl had Chili Doooogs.

Don’t follow my example, kids!  Food first!  Cotton Candy…afterrrrr.
