My Aminal Babies

I have an oasis where our most treasured furbabies, my elephants, live.  As their elders move on to greener pastures, their babies live here protected.  With them, we also have our other protected furbabies and one heck of a security guard in our sometimes too-aggressive white peacock, Terrance.

But without further ado, I present Empresses Thelma and Louise, High Elephants of the Jenkins Herd and most protected babies of our family animal.  The live with our family Tiger, Eneyla, our camels, and Terrance, the bodyguarding peacock.

When I need my quiet, this is where I reside; with them.  They bring me peace and calm my spirit. Love them so very much!

Before Ariel & Eric, there was the story of Calendria and Trent.  Parents to Triton, their love went against everything the Humans wanted for their own. They wouldn’t hear of their daughter loving a merman.

Because their love was forbidden, Calendria would sneak out in the wee hours and meet Trent under the cloak of the night near the entrance to Trent’s land. Her lady-in-waiting stood in the shadows often looking onward with sympathy and awe of their love for one another. The look of love between these two, the King would never approve. They had to be careful or they’d be caught in no time.  And given the burgeoning war of land versus sea, they couldn’t risk getting caught.  Stolen moments, soft touches, the embers of a slow but steady burn growing in the hearts of two young lovers, swept away at the moment.

They couldn’t just walk away. So their stolen moments had to be enough. For now, all they had were these moments and their secret hiding place. May they never be found out.
