I’m so excited! This bistro moved in across from the house and one of my favorite meals is their special!  So on top of being able to eat my favorites, I don’t have to cook it!!

I hope this place is good. It’s received great reviews thus far. They say the root beer is a special home brew.  Let’s hope it compliments this meal well.

To My Heart

So I’m not going to get “too” mushy or sentimental…well hopefully not.  But I wanted to send a quick love note to my #1 Valentine: myself.

You are always a perfect work in progress.  And while you may not be on 100% all of the time, you give of yourself fully. You are full of love, friendship, nature and are completely loveable.

Your humor, while at times whooooolly inappropriate, lifts my spirits and those around you. You may not know everything but you know enough and are willing to learn and adapt.

Your sensuality, while at times understated, reminds me of a slow burn that when it meets the right fuse ignites to a dynamic display of fireworks that lights the night sky for miles to come.

You’re imperfect and that’s more than okay.  Because I love you.  And through every up and down and sidewinding turn, I always will…even if it feels like I don’t.

My advice to anyone reading this and wondering why I’m bigging myself up like this: no nothing is wrong. But you do need to remind yourself that you are important and worthy of not just everyone else’s love…but your own as well.

Love yourself first.  It starts with you.  Then maybe, it’ll be easier for you to believe that others love you too! 😉
